Description

Bergenia ‘Sakura’ (Dragonfly Series)

A compact, clump-forming, evergreen perennial which has rounded to ovate, glossy, dark green green leaves, flushed purple and bronze in winter. In spring, dense clusters of open bell-shaped, double to semi-double, bright pink flowers are borne on stiff, upright, flushed red stems.

Grow in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. They are tolerant of poor soil and exposure, this enhances their winter leaf colour. It will reach a height of 45cm and a spread of 30cm.
