Chilli ‘Holy Mole’
Cool Chilli. Traditionally used in mole sauce but also very adaptable for all kinds of delicious culinary dishes; they dry very well so can be used out of season too. The fruits start off green (and can be eaten at this point), turn red and finally ripen to a deep brown. They have a mild nutty, tangy flavour to them. It is not unusual for the fruits to reach 20 cm (8″) long and 3 cm (1″) wide. Plants usually reach approximately 90 cm (3 feet) tall.
