A deciduous climber which is a new line of wilt resistant clematis. Purple-blue, star-shaped flowers which develop silvery-white central stripes as they age are borne freely from April to May, and they have a rich almond-like scent, which is at its best in the evening.

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil in sun, with the roots and base of the plant in shade. It will reach a height and a spread of 3m.
