Eryngium planum ‘Blue Hobbit’

Blue Eryngo. A clump-forming, evergreen perennial with oblong to circular, toothed, dark green basal leaves and spiny, blue-tinted stem leaves. In July and August masses of cone shaped, spiky, bright purple-blue flower heads are borne on stiffly, erect, branched stems.

Needs well-draining, poor to moderately fertile soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 20cm and a spread of 10-15cm.
