Euphorbia characias ‘Black Pearl’

Spurge. A compact, clump-forming evergreen shrub with upright, leafy, biennial stems bearing linear to ovate, grey-green leaves. From May to July, cylindrical cymes of tiny, yellow flowers and conspicuous, black nectar glands surrounded by prominent, lime-green bracts.

Grow in any reasonably fertile soil in full sun or in full shade. It will reach a height of 80cm and a spread of 45cm.
