Hydrangea serrata ‘Grayswood’
(Lacecap) A compact, erect, deciduous shrub which has mid-green, narrowly ovate, pointed leaves which turn red in autumn. Bears flowers with a blue centre and a ring of white florets, aging to pink and then crimson, bluer on acid soils from summer to autumn.
Grow in moist but well-drained humus-rich soil in full sun or partial shade. Protect from cold winds. It will reach a height and spread of 1m.
