Koeleria glauca
Glaucous Hair Grass. A densely tufted, semi-evergreen, perennial grass, forming a compact mound of narrowly linear, glaucous grey-green leaves with inrolled margins. In early and midsummer erect stems which bear cylindrical panicles of shining, silver-green spikelets, which age to buff are borne.
Grow in medium to light, not too fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or light dappled shade. They thrive in alkaline and shallow, chalky soil. It will reach a height of 40cm and a spread of 30cm.
