Description

Papaver orientale

A clump-forming perennial which has erect, white-bristly stems and pinnatisect mid-green leaves. In June and July, cup-shaped, solitary, orange-scarlet flowers with bluish-black basal spots are borne.

Grow in deep, fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 45-90cm and a spread of 60-90cm.
