Description
Polygonatum x hybridum
Solomon’s Seal. A rhizomatous perennial, which has arching stems, which bear ovate-lance-shaped leaves. Pendent, green-tipped, creamy-white flowers are borne in late spring, these are followed by spherical, blue-black fruits.
Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full or partial shade. It will reach a height of 1.2m and a spread of 30cm.
