Sorbus hemsleyi ‘John Bond’
A compact, upright tree with a columnar habit which has heavily veined grey-green leaves that appear to weep and twist to reveal their striking white undersides throughout the growing season. Clusters of creamy-white flowers are borne in spring, followed by small brown fruits in autumn.
Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. It will reach a height of 8m and spread of 4m.
