Abies nordmanniana

Caucasian Fir. A large columnar tree with tiered branches. Leaves, glossy, rich green, with white beneath. Cones greenish brown.

Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained, neutral to slightly acid soil in full sun with shelter from cold winds. It will reach a height of 40m and a spread of 6m. Hardy.
