Acer palmatum ‘Atropurpureum’

Japanese Maple. A Maple of upright, branching habit. Foliage is dark purple in spring and summer turning scarlet in autumn. Deciduous.

Grows in moist but well drained lime-free soils in full sun or partial shade. It will reach an ultimate height and spread of 5m.
