Agrostemma githago

Corn Cockle. A summer flowering annual which has linear, to lance-shaped, grey-green leaves. From June to August magenta-purple, sometimes white-eyed or white flowers with ribbed, hairy calyces are borne.

Grow in preferably poor, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 60-90cm and a spread of 30cm.
