Allium cernuum

Wild Onion. Nodding Onion. A vigorous, bulbous perennial which has narrowly strap-shaped, dark green, basal leaves. In summer, stiff stems, curving over sharply at the tips, bear pendant umbels, 6cm across of 25-40 bell-shaped, mid- to deep pink flowers.

Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 30-60cm and a spread of 5cm.
