Asphodeline liburnica

Jacob’s Rod. A clump-forming perennial with narrowly triangular, blue-green leaves, to 25cm long, borne only on the lower part of the flower stems. In midsummer, slender racemes of star-shaped, pale yellow flowers, striped green on the backs of the petals are borne.

Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained, sandy, loamy, deep soil in full sun. Mulch in autumn in cold areas. It will reach a height of 1m and a spread of 30cm.
