Japanese Sedge. A low-growing, evergreen, clump-forming perennial grass with arching, narrow, dark green leaves edged with creamy-white margins. In late spring, inconspicuous brownish flower spikes appear just above the foliage.

Grow in moist, fertile, well-drained soil in partial to full shade, though it will tolerate some sun if the soil remains consistently moist. It will reach a height of 30-40cm and a spread of 45-60cm.
