Centaurea ruthenica

An erect, woody-based perennial with simple or sparsely branched stems and ovate-oblong, pinnatisect, dark green leaves. Thistle-like, pale lemon-yellow flowers are borne in summer.

Grow in well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 1.5m and a spread of 45cm.
