Ceratostigma plumbaginoides

A spreading, woody based perennial which has erect red stems, and obovate, bright green leaves, with bristly, wavy margins, red-tinted in autumn. In late summer clusters of bright blue flowers are borne.

Grow in moderately fertile, light, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of up to 45cm and a spread of 30cm or more.
