Cercis canadensis ‘Forest Pansy’

Eastern Redbud. A small tree which is renowned for its deep reddish-purple foliage and pink, pea-like flowers which are borne profusely in spring. Deciduous.

Grow in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in sun or dappled shade. It will reach a height and spread of 3m in 10 years.
