Corylus maxima ‘Purpurea’

Purple-Leafed Filbert. A large shrub or small, spreading tree with purple foliage, purple-tinged catkins, and purple fruit husks. Produces edible nuts. Deciduous.

Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height and spread of 2.5m.
