Fagus sylvatica ‘Purpurea’

Purple Beech. A large tree which produces purple leaves in spring which turn a rich copper colour in autumn. Deciduous.

It is tolerant of a wide range of well-drained soils. Grow in full sun to get the best colour from the foliage. It will reach an ultimate height of 25m and a spread of 15m.
