Galium verum

Lady’s Bedstraw. A perennial which has whorls of slender, dark-green leaves and from July to August honey-scented, golden-yellow flowers are borne. It has a pleasant smell of new mown hay when dried which explains why it was once used as a mattress filler.

Grow in full sun in poor soil. It will reach a height and spread of 50cm.
