Heliopsis helianthoides var. scabra ‘Burning Hearts’

An upright, clump-forming perennial bearing lance-shaped, toothed, purple-flushed, dark green leaves. From midsummer to early autumn, purple-black stems bearing daisy-like flowers, golden yellow at the edges and rich orange at the centre are borne.

Grow in moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. May need support. It will reach a height of 1.2m and a spread of 60cm.
