Knautia arvensis

Field Scabious. A clump-forming perennial with deeply lobed, hairy green leaves. From July to September, it produces delicate, pincushion-like lavender-blue flowers.

Grow in well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of up to 1m and a spread of 50cm.
