Knautia macedonica ‘Mars Midget’

An upright, clump-forming perennial which has finely divided, lance-shaped basal leaves while the leaves on the stems are divided into fern-like segments. Long lasting, deep red to maroon pincushion flowers are borne on the stems from June to September.

Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained, slightly alkaline soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height and spread of 30-45cm.
