Koenigia alpina
Also known as Polygonum alpinum and Persicaria polymorpha. Giant Fleeceflower. A robust, clump-forming perennial which has tall, upright stems and large, lance-shaped, dark green leaves. From June to September, creamy white flowers are borne in large, feathery panicles that rise above the foliage. As the blooms mature, they develop a pinkish hue and eventually turn brown.
Grow in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. It is highly adaptable and can tolerate a wide range of soil types, from moist to dry. It will reach a height of 2m and a spread of 1.2m.
