A bushy evergreen shrub with dark green leaves. Pairs of tubular, creamy white flowers are borne in April and May which are followed by glossy, blue-purple berries.

Grow in any well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of up to 3.5m and a spread of 3m.
