Mahonia x media ‘Winter Sun’

A striking upright, evergreen shrub with dark green, spiny, leaflets. Produces densely clustered, arching racemes of scented yellow flowers from autumn to winter.

Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil in full or partial shade. They will tolerate a sunny position if the soil isn’t too dry. It will reach a height and spread of 4m.
