Malus ‘Halloween’

A small tree with an upright, spreading habit which has oval, serrated, dark green leaves, turning to shades of yellow in the autumn. In April and May,  white or pale pink flowers are borne in clusters which are followed by small, orange-red crabapples in autumn which are ribbed in appearance looking like mini pumpkins that persist into the winter. Deciduous.

Grow in moderately fertile, moist, but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 4-6m and a spread of 3-4m after 10 years.
