Miscanthus sinensis ‘Little Zebra’

A compact, clump-forming, deciduous, perennial grass which has upright to arching, narrowly linear, yellow-banded, dark green leaves. In late summer and early autumn, upright stems bearing feathery panicles of reddish-purple flower spikelets turning silvery-tan by winter are borne.

Grow in moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Protect from excessive winter wet. It will reach a height of 1.2m and a spread of 90cm.
