Narcissus ‘King Alfred’
A bulbous perennial which has strap-shaped, green leaves. The flowers are borne from March to April and are large, golden-yellow, and feature broad petals surrounding a long, trumpet-shaped corona. The blooms have a classic daffodil appearance, with a ruffled trumpet and bold, sunny petals, making it one of the most recognisable daffodils. This daffodil is ideal for borders, naturalising in grassy areas, or planting in containers.
Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained soil that is moist during the growing season. It will reach a height of 45cm.
