Panicum virgatum ‘Northwind’

Switch Grass. A dense, upright, deciduous perennial grass which forms clumps of flat, linear, arching, olive- to blue-green leaves which turn yellow brown in autumn. In early autumn weeping panicles of tiny, yellow flowers are borne.

Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 2m and spread of 75cm.
