Polemonium yezoense var. hidakanum ‘Purple Rain’

A compact, clump-forming perennial with neat mounds of finely divided, fern-like, dark green foliage. From late spring into early summer, upright stems carry clusters of rich violet-purple, bell-shaped flowers with contrasting golden stamens.

Grow in any fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 60cm and a spread of 40cm.
