Primula auricula L. (Au)

A rosette-forming, evergreen, sometimes white-mealy perennial, with usually obovate-spoon-shaped to rounded, entire to toothed, pale green to grey-green leaves. In spring, umbels of 2-30 salverform, fragrant, deep yellow flowers are borne.

Grow in deep, moist but well-drained neutral to acid, humus-rich soil in full sun or part shade. It will reach a height of 20cm and spread of 25cm.
