Red Veined Sorrel

Rumex sanguineus. This hardy perennial herb is easy to grow and adds leafy texture and a tart flavour to a mixed leaf salad. Young sorrel leaves are used extensively in French cuisine, being particularly flavoursome in fish dishes, soups, stews and sauces.

Grow in a sunny position. It will reach a height and spread of 45cm.
