Rudbeckia occidentalis ‘Green Wizard’
Western coneflower. A deciduous perennial which has broadly egg-shaped leaves. In July, sparsely branched stems bear curious flowerheads which consist of a columnar black disc, they are surrounded by green bracts.
Grow in moderately fertile, preferably heavy but well-drained soil which does not dry out, in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 1-1.5m.
