Salvia officinalis ‘Tricolor’

A compact, mound-forming evergreen perennial which has oblong-ovate, entire, green, cream, and purple, woolly, aromatic leaves. From midsummer to early autumn lilac-blue flowers are borne. It can also be used as a culinary herb, adding a unique flavour to dishes and garnishes.

Grow in light, moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or light-dappled shade. It will reach a height and spread of 50cm.
