Tamarix ramosissima

A large deciduous shrub to small tree with arching, red-brown branches which in late summer and early autumn are covered with panicles of fluffy pink flowers.

Grow in full sun, in moist but well-drained soil with shelter from cold, drying winds. It will reach a height and spread of 5m.
