    Serbian Spruce. A narrow, spire-like tree which has pendant branches, the leaves are dark to blue-green with white undersides. The bark is brown and cracks into square plates, the shoots are orange-brown and have black hairs.

    Blue Spruce. A columnar or conical tree which has densely growing, horizontal branches which have grey-green leaves. It has scaly grey bark on the trunk and the branches are yellowish-brown. The pale brown cones are up to 10cm long.

    Grow in any deep, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Shelter from cold, drying winds. It will reach a height of 15-25m and a spread of 3-5m.
