Grow in moist, fertile, humus-rich soil in partial shade, though it will tolerate full sun if the soil remains consistently moist. Ideal for woodland gardens, the back of mixed borders, or alongside water features. It will reach a height of 90-120cm and a spread of 60-90cm.
