Arenaria

Sandwort. A vigorous, low-growing, evergreen perennial with wiry, prostrate stems and linear to lance-shaped, greyish green leaves. In May and June, cup-shaped white flowers with yellow centres are borne.

Grow in moist but well-drained, sandy, poor soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 5cm and a spread of 40cm.
