£4.50A vigorous, deciduous, bulbous perennial which has thick, erect stems bearing whorled, lance-shaped, mid- to bright green leaves. In April and May, a terminal umbel of bell-shaped, deep orange-red flowers blooming beneath a tuft of leaf-like bracts is borne.
Grow in moist, free-draining soil in a sunny but cool or partly shaded position. It will reach a height of 1.5m and a spread of 50cm.
