Erythronium

Dog’s Tooth Violet. A very vigorous, bulbous perennial which has elliptic, strongly bronze-mottled, glossy, deep green leaves. In spring, the stems bear sulphur-yellow flowers, with brown central rings and deep yellow anthers.

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil that does not dry out, in light dappled or partial shade. It will reach a height of 15-35cm and a spread of 10cm.
