Liriodendron

Tulip Tree. A vigorous, broadly columnar to conical shaped tree which has tulip-shaped dark green leaves which turn yellow in autumn. Tulip-shaped, pale green flowers are borne in midsummer on mature trees. Deciduous.

Grow in moderately fertile, slightly acidic, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 30m and a spread of 15m.
