Grow in well-drained, sandy, fertile loam in a sunny, sheltered position. Mulch in autumn, avoiding the crown and protect new growth with a dry mulch. It will reach a height of 1.5m and a spread of 75cm.

Desert Candle. Foxtail Lily. A tough mound forming perennial which has dull green, lance-shaped leaves. In May and June elegant spikes of burnt orange buds open into glowing peachy-orange flowers with a dark red midrib on the backs of the petals and orange anthers are borne.
Grow in rich, well-drained soils in a sunny, sheltered position. It will reach a height of 120cm and a spread of 90cm.

Desert Candle. Foxtail Lily. A striking, clump-forming perennial with a rosette of narrow, strap-shaped, grey-green leaves at the base. In early to mid-summer, it has tall, dramatic flower spikes densely packed with soft peach-pink, star-shaped flowers that gradually open from the base upwards, attracting bees and butterflies.
Grow in rich, well-drained soils in a sunny, sheltered position. It will reach a height of 1.2-1.5cm and a spread of 30-45cm.
