Chimonanthus

Wintersweet. A deciduous bushy shrub which bears very fragrant cup-shaped yellow flowers with purple centres on bare branches in mild spells throughout winter.

Grow in any fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 2.5m and a spread of 3m in 10 years.
