Cephalaria

Giant Scabious. A clump-forming perennial which produces pinnatisect, basal leaves with oblong to broadly lance-shaped, coarsely toothed lobes. In May and June, stout, few-branched stems bear primrose yellow flowerheads.

Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of upto 2.5m and a spread of 60cm.
