    Synonym Aster divaricatus. White Wood Aster. A clump forming, rhizomatous perennial with arching, wiry, black-purple stems and mid-green ovate-lance shaped upper leaves and heart shaped lower leaves. Bears loose corymbs, 10cm across of white flowerheads 1cm across, with brownish yellow disc florets from midsummer to autumn.

    Grow in well-cultivated, fertile, moist soil in sun or partial shade. It will reach a height and spread of 60cm.

    Grow in well-cultivated, fertile, moist soil in sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 1m and a spread of 50cm.
