Inula

A robust, clump-forming perennial bearing hairy stems, with dark purple streaks along their lengths, and elliptic-ovate, dark green leaves. From August to September bright golden yellow flowerheads, to 15cm across are borne.

Grow in deep fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. It will grow in boggy conditions. It will reach a height of 1.8m and a spread of 1m.
