Bupleurum fruticosum
Shrubby Hare’s Ear. An open, spreading but dense, evergreen shrub which has long, slender, mainly unbranched, erect shoots and narrowly ovate, blue-green leaves. Small, star-shaped yellow flowers are borne in domed, terminal umbels from midsummer to early autumn.
Grow in any well-drained soil in full sun and a warm, sheltered site. Dead head to avoid self-seedling. It will reach a height of 2m and a spread of 2.5m
